Job Description Note: Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) configuration experience is essential for this role. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Business Analyst with a deep understanding of Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) and a passion for the insurance industry. In this role, you will take on varied and complex duties that require independent judgment to capture business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for OIPA. You will employ Oracle methodology and leading practices to enhance our solutions. What You'll Do Lead the OIPA requirements definition and functional design for medium to large-scale implementations in the insurance and financial services sector. Work within an agile framework to create epics, features, and user stories that effectively document business requirements and functional specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, architecture, and technical groups to ensure a complete understanding of requirements, maintaining a robust requirements traceability matrix. Partner closely with testing teams to align testing activities with defined requirements. Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, driving decision-making processes and adoption while ensuring each project delivers significant business value. Contribute to project planning and delivery, employing best practices to keep initiatives on track and clients satisfied. What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of direct experience with Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) implementations. Hands-on experience with OIPA configuration. Strong background in life insurance and annuity products, underwriting, reinsurance, and policy administration processes. Experience working within Agile methodologies. Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities. Fluency in English and comfort in fast-paced, client-facing environments. Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed. Bonus Points If You Have An understanding of the complete insurance policy lifecycle. LOMA certification. A genuine passion for insurance technology innovation and active participation in industry forums or thought leadership initiatives. Experience in managing agile projects.
