We Count on You to: Lead and manage contracts related to public sector projects, ensuring compliance with pertinent laws and policies from initiation to closeout. Ensure contracts uphold company policies and state-specific requirements, focusing on transparency, reporting, and audit readiness. Coordinate and communicate effectively with various internal teams, including Legal, Contracts and Compliance, Business Development, and Client Management, to align contract initiatives and objectives. Monitor deliverables and timelines for adherence to state government standards. Oversee preparation activities to ensure a smooth transition following contract awards. Maintain detailed and organized documentation according to state record-keeping requirements. Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and project execution. Prepare and communicate updates regarding contract status and compliance. Stay informed on changes in state procurement laws and best practices to maintain compliance. Implement process enhancements that improve efficiency in contract management. What You Need to Have: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant public sector education is a plus. A minimum of 5 years in contract management or project management, with at least 3 years concentrated on public sector contracting. Strong knowledge of state procurement laws, compliance management, and risk management. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to interpret complex government contracting policies. Experience in managing multiple contracts within a regulated environment. Proficiency in contract management systems and government procurement platforms. Strong analytical skills focused on risk identification and problem-solving. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. What Makes You Stand Out: Certifications such as Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or state-specific procurement certifications are advantageous. The expected salary range for this role is $109,400 to $218,900, based on experience and qualifications.
