Preconstruction Manager

Your expertise in analyzing project plans, specifications, and financial aspects of construction will be critical in determining the overall project cost. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and documentation to grasp project requirements. Conduct quantity take-offs and create detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness. Collaborate with project managers, estimators, architects, and team members to identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and deliver detailed bid proposals to clients. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required. Stay updated on market trends, pricing strategies, and industry standards. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project timelines and deliverables. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related area (preferred). Demonstrated experience as a Construction Estimator with a successful track record in bidding and winning projects. Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and techniques. Proficiency in construction estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional analytical and mathematical abilities. A keen eye for detail and precision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
