There may be a need for standing, walking, sitting, lifting, kneeling, reaching, handling, thinking, reasoning, and calculating, some of it constantA positive attitude and professional behavior are expected and displayed consistently in all dealings with members and/or fellow Team membersMust have one year of experience working with childrenCPR/First Aid/AED for adults, infants, and children or ability to obtain certificationHighly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAvailable to work days full time Monday-Friday and able to commit to entire summer seasonDriver’s License or reliable transportation to and from work.State Specific Licensing Requirements as applicableBasic Job Responsibilities:Provide leadership support to counselors and the Director throughout the summer with programming, logistics, safety, and facilitiesDeveloping youth friendships to ensure each child is connected to their camp community - upholding the Mighty Camps brand and experience through thoughtful and intentional choices.Completing daily opening and closing procedures, as well as safety logsDaily written and verbal communication with Camp parents, team members, club members, and Camp Site DirectorMaintain a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs of the campers in my care and communicate safety or behavior concerns with appropriate partiesEnsure each area of the club utilized by the camp is on Brand, clean, and in good repairFind coverage for sick days and communicate planned vacation days prior to the start of the seasonBenefits of Employment:Free childcare - enroll your children in campFree premier membership to ALL Genesis Health Clubs while employedMinimal weekend and evening responsibilities outside of initial trainingOngoing training in youth development, leadership, and professionalismOpportunity for multi-department work and/or year round employment with clubStaff discounts on supplements, smoothies, personal training, and moreInternships and letters of recommendation as earned
