We encourage your active participation! The Financial Engineering team plays a crucial role in achieving Coinbase's mission to establish an open financial system for the world. As part of the Financial Platform team, you will support our trading processes and products, handling transactions that amount to hundreds of billions of dollars annually, thus enabling all financial functions to operate seamlessly. As a Senior Product Manager, you will spearhead high-impact initiatives during a pivotal moment in the market. We seek an entrepreneurial and self-motivated product manager with extensive experience in financial products and a proven track record of scaling initiatives. Comfort with uncertainty, the capability to address complex challenges, and the ability to align cross-functional teams for successful product launches are essential for this role. Responsibilities: Develop and articulate the vision and strategy for platforms that support Coinbase's financial operations. Collaborate with finance function users to create solutions for Accounting, Tax, Financial Reporting, Treasury, and FP&A processes. Design and implement robust, scalable solutions that guarantee the accuracy of financial data. Prioritize the product roadmap based on customer value, using metrics to steer product development. Perform competitive analyses and leverage data insights for informed decision-making while deepening your expertise in financial and crypto products. Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch evaluation. Qualifications: 7+ years of product management experience. A degree in Computer Science or a background in Software Engineering. Thorough knowledge of financial products, particularly regarding financial record keeping and accounting processes. Experience in developing scalable solutions for fund movements, customer balances, or portfolio performance. Demonstrated expertise in managing critical business systems in a fast-paced environment. Ability to inspire and align key stakeholders, including the CFO, Accounting, Product, and Engineering teams around a unified vision. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with accounting terminology and financial applications, including ERP systems, accounting platforms, and budgeting tools. Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position ranges as listed below. Full-time offers at Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
