Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Designer

Job DescriptionNeeded Immediately: Mechanical Designer in Greenville, SC. The focus will be on machine design with Solidworks and Autocad.Required: BS, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work history 5+ years experience Experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment Autodesk Solidworks Microsoft Office Suite Job Details: Plans, designs and implements new or modified machinery. Designs products and systems to interface with machines, hardware and software Provides technical guidance on and coordinates or directs fabrication, testing and installation of products, machinery, components and systems Project management: coordinate and communicate timelines, expectations and results to involved parties with proper documentation and reporting Conceives and plans projects involving product/process problems and develops new and improved approaches to the design/development of product/processes. Plans and develops methods and procedures for testing products and equipment using a qualification process Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) Extensive data analysis/collection skills and root cause analysis experience Conducts cross departmental training for all product/process changes Coordinates or directs engineering or manufacturing personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus. Ability to work hands on with industry tools, modify mechanical JIG Understand, maintain and perform work according to quality, health, safety and environmental standards Communicate effectively with internal employees, as well as external vendors Lean Manufacturing experience a plus Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements machine design Meet Your RecruiterChristy Loudermilk
