Interview : Video Visa : USC, GC, GC EAD, H4, L2 This is hybrid from day-1 ( Local candidates highly preferred ) Description : About the job Job Description As Principal Solutions Architect in Atlanta, you will lead technology transformation and AI initiatives across core vehicle processes, modernizing titles, releases, service payments, sales, approvals, documentation, and reporting. Responsibilities Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design solutions that address business needs .Facilitate collaborative design discussions and lead design reviews .Partner with product teams to envision future features and help plan development sequences .Serve as a technical subject matter expert for the engineering team .Assist in developing architecture standards .Support the improvement of architectural practices .Help govern software development to ensure non-functional requirements are met .Champion investments in technology and architecture, advocating for project priorities .Identify opportunities for application optimization and simplification .Lead the architectural design and integration of AI capabilities into enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility .Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and develop scalable solutions .Assist in planning the IT Husbandry Roadmap for the year .Evaluate emerging AI technologies for workload applicability and assess off-the-shelf solutions to address current engineering and product challenges .Work closely with Security, Data Governance, and AI Governance teams to ensure AI implementations meet ethical, regulatory, and operational standards .Bring reusable patterns, frameworks, and lessons learned from other teams to accelerate AI adoption and reduce duplication .Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions are both innovative and practical .Lead proofs-of-concept and reference implementations to validate approaches .Define standards for API discoverability, extensibility, and versioning to support evolving AI capabilities .Ensure APIs are designed with security, scalability, and interoperability in mind .Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on AI technologies and patterns .Contribute to internal documentation, training, and enablement resources to build organizational AI fluency . Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline plus 10+ years of experience in software development for mid-sized to large companie s.Engages with emerging AI technologies daily (e.g., LLMs, autonomous agents, vector databases ).Has designed and deployed complex cloud architecture applications via AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azur e.Has applied enterprise architecture patterns to design and deploy distributed systems (e.g., Restful APIs, Event-Driven Microservices, Micro Frontends, BFFs, Serverless architectures ).Over 5 years of hands-on experience as a solution or technical architect, advocating for technical solutions and influencing other s.Experience with React front-end development, J2EE back-ends, and Node.js/TypeScript application s.Familiarity with Snowflake and Jaspersoft is preferre d.Experience with on-premise applications and Tibco SOA is a plu s.Experience with replatforming applications from legacy languages (e.g., Ruby on Rails to Java/TypeScript/Python ).Experience with Credit Card Payment Gateway s.Familiarity with ActiveMQ is preferre d.Experience with RPG AS400 iSeries is a plu s.Strong ability to produce high-quality blog posts and technical documentatio n.Able to serve as a technology mentor and facilitate colleagues' growt h.Skilled at managing conflicts and maintaining productive relationship s.Industry experience in automotive or willingness to become an industry expert.
