Located in Durham, NC, this contract position offers an opportunity to provide critical speech-language pathology services within a school setting. The role requires a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with recent school-based experience, preferably in North Carolina, to support students' communication development on-site. Key Qualifications: Current certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Recent experience in school-based settings, with preference given to candidates familiar with North Carolina school environments. Strong ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary school teams. Ability to work independently without the support of assistants. Location & Work Environment: On-site role in the Durham, NC area. Servicing schools in the Raleigh, NC region with a dynamic and supportive team. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students. Design and deliver effective therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs. Monitor student progress and adjust goals and strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and legal requirements. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote student success. Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of communication strategies within the school.
