Job Description: • Work closely with the Company's operating team to develop a full understanding of their respective financial and management operations. • Serve as critical member of the management team, assisting in development and achievement of company's strategic financial goals. • Develop and implement financial and administrative best practices. • Collaborate with the Company teams on long term planning, budgeting, financial, and operational analysis as it relates to the initiatives identified during strategic planning efforts. • Work closely with Company management to identify critical systems in need of improvement, and/or implement critical systems currently lacking for purposes of enhancing timely and accurate reporting. This role will initially work closely with the senior leadership team of the Company in support of three initial primary initiatives: • Optimize financial reporting and analysis, including the development and timely reporting of key performance indicators that drive performance. • Implement and streamline regular reporting rhythms including weekly and monthly KPI reporting, quarterly board meeting presentations, and periodic strategic planning updates. • Support the expanded reliance upon the Company's operating systems and serve as in-house system expert in emphasizing continued deployment throughout the organization. Work in collaboration with the management team to ensure that the systems provide the accounting and operational functionality with the necessary data and information to significantly improve financial reporting and controls at both a consolidated holding company level as well as each subsidiary. Qualifications: • Manufacturing industry knowledge, specifically including cost accounting. • 5-15 years progressive accounting experience, with increasing level of responsibility and achievement required. • Controller or equivalent experience preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar field of study required. • CPA preferred, current knowledge of accrual accounting and GAAP required.
