CooperZadeh Holdings is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support our Build-to-Rent (BTR) communities across East Texas, including Tyler, Terrell, and Mabank. This role is responsible for maintaining high-quality rental homes, completing service requests efficiently, supporting make-ready turns, and upholding safety and operational standards across the portfolio. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in delivering a "rent-ready WOW" product, reducing emergency repairs through preventative maintenance, and ensuring professional resident interactions while protecting company assets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete service requests within company response and completion standards. Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry issues. Perform preventative maintenance per schedule to reduce emergency calls. Execute make-ready tasks and support turn timelines. Document all work orders accurately in Yardi CMMS. Conduct property inspections and identify repair scope needs. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Follow OSHA, city, and warranty compliance standards. Participate in on-call rotation as required. Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members. Requirements Education & Experience Minimum 2+ years of residential, multifamily, or BTR maintenance experience. Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair. Certifications EPA Certification - Type II or Universal (Required). Technical Skills Proficiency in CMMS platforms; experience with Yardi strongly preferred. Ability to troubleshoot independently and prioritize work effectively. Comfortable using mobile devices for work order management. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Ability to work outdoors in Texas heat and varying weather conditions. Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Other Requirements Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel between assigned East Texas communities. Participation in rotating on-call schedule. Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and accountability.
