Job Description

Work on innovative mechanical systems in a fastpaced R&D environment. Lead projects from concept to implementation with multidisciplinary teams. About Our Client A leading manufacturer known for innovation and advanced materials expertise, supported by multidisciplinary engineering teams. The organization places strong emphasis on R&D, process improvement, and developing new technologies to meet future industry demands. Job Description Responsibilities for the R&D Mechanical Engineer include: Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components to improve performance and reliability. Support the development and sourcing of automated equipment and assembly fixtures. Conceptualize new equipment and processes for expansion into green energy and other growth markets. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with a high degree of independence. Perform rootcause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality or performance issues. Identify and validate materials and manufacturing processes for new designs. Plan and execute testing, validation, and documentation for new equipment or system development. Collaborate crossfunctionally with production, procurement, quality, and external partners. Support quoting activities by estimating costs, lead times, and resources for new R&D projects. Travel domestically and internationally as needed. The Successful Applicant A successful R&D Mechanical Engineer should have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3-7 years of experience in mechanical design and development within R&D or manufacturing. Strong projectmanagement skills with the ability to coordinate resources and timelines. Proficient in SolidWorks, engineering documentation, and Microsoft Office. Selfdriven, highly organized, and able to adapt to fastmoving environments. Strong analytical, communication, and problemsolving skills. Beneficial experience includes machining knowledge, FEA or thermal modeling, test fixture design, machine controls, hightemperature materials, vacuum systems, or lasercutting equipment.
