Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $140,000 to $180,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity. Oversee cash flow management and liquidity planning. Prepare timely and accurate filing of tax returns. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data. Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team. Support strategic planning initiatives with financial insights. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred 7+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong emphasis on GAAP and inventory accounting. Experience in preparing for and managing audits, both internal and external. Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position within a manufacturing environment. Significant experience in both public accounting and private industry accounting preferred. Proficiency in accounting software(NetSuite) required and financial management systems. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. Ability to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
