Join a GI Team That Values Your Expertise, Your Work-Life Balance, and Your FutureAbout the Opportunity: As a Part-Time Infusion RN with Gastro Health, you will play a vital role in the care of patients living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Our Infusion Nurses interact with patients daily and provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care in a supportive outpatient setting. At the end of each day, our team goes home knowing they made a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this role, you will administer biologic infusion therapies while collaborating closely with physicians and the broader care team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment. This is a temporary, non-exempt position anticipated to last approximately eight (8) weeks to provide coverage during a leave of absence. Should the incumbent employee choose not to return from leave, there may be an opportunity to transition this role to a permanent position at the same hourly rate, subject to business needs and mutual agreement. As an Infusion RN with Gastro Health, you will: Enjoy a predictable schedule - 8AM to 5:00PM - Mon/Wed/Fri Administer biologic medications to IBD patients in an outpatient infusion setting Assess patients before, during, and after infusions Monitor for and respond to infusion reactions or adverse events Accurately document medical information and infusion records in eCW Coordinate care with physicians and clinical team members Provide education and reassurance to patients and families Deliver excellent customer service in a calm, professional environment Candidate Requirements: Current Florida RN license (required) Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred Infusion and IV experience required; biologic infusion experience strongly preferred BLS required; ACLS preferred Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills About Gastro Health: Gastro Health is an extensive and diverse group of professionals dedicated to digestive and liver health.
