License: New York State License required. Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in Med Surg/Telemetry. Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Experience with rapid response/code teams. Peripheral line care/management experience. Knowledge of nasal cannula and oxygen administration. Ability to manage oxygen tanks and perform non-invasive airway management. Knowledge of isolation precautions. Description: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse required. Candidate will float as needed based on facility demands. Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday availability is required. Traveler must coordinate time off with peers to ensure coverage. Call-off policy allows for three shifts during the assignment period. Automatic disqualifiers include any professional license violations. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with charting systems is necessary. Team nursing model is utilized with an 8:1 patient ratio, including an LPN.
