We have an exciting remote opportunity for students to participate in a 16-week internship at the International Corporate Headquarters (ICHQ) of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on professional experience, build your resume, and develop real-world skills in a dynamic nonprofit environment. Summary As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will assist with special projects and strategic initiatives across multiple areas of the organization. Your primary project will be collaborating with the Marketing Manager and Executive Director to support and enhance the organization's marketing and communications strategy. We are specifically seeking a creative and digitally skilled intern with experience in: Videography and video editing Content creation for social media Graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Canva) This role is ideal for a student interested in digital media, branding, storytelling, and nonprofit communications. Responsibilities will be customized based on the intern's interests and organizational needs. Interns will meet with relevant leaders within the organization to receive orientation and an overview of day-to-day responsibilities. Qualified candidates must be able to work independently, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Internship Exposure Real-world knowledge and experience in the nonprofit sector Working closely with executive leadership and department heads Attending department and/or team meetings Creating digital content and supporting brand storytelling initiatives Contributing to meaningful projects that impact operational efficiency and member engagement Professional Expectations Bring innovation and creativity to all assigned projects Complete projects on time and meet established deadlines Adhere to scheduled work hours, policies, and procedures Assume personal and professional responsibility for assigned tasks Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and peers Represent Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. with professionalism and excellence Dates & Logistics Duration: 16 weeks | April 13, 2026 - July 31, 2026 Hours: Monday - Friday (Flexible based on course load) | 15 hours per week Format: Fully remote opportunity Benefits & Compensation Stipend of $3,240 (total) paid in bi-weekly increments of $405 Remote work experience Certificate of Completion Letter of Recommendation Student Participation Criteria Undergraduate student Graduate student Post-baccalaureate student Currently enrolled high school or college student Minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
