The Janitor / Cleaner is responsible for creating a culture of cleanliness by maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable and safe environment for Members and staff. Responsibilities Effectively and efficiently handle Member situations, concerns, and feedback. Follow all company safety and security procedures, and maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition in compliance with OSHA guidelines Monitor and report necessary repairs, replacements, maintenance issues, and safety hazards Operate mechanical cleaning equipment Vacuum, clean carpets, rugs and draperies Clean, dust, and polish furniture, metal fixtures, fittings, and ceiling fans Empty and clean trash containers in a sanitary manner Clean wash basins, mirrors, and showers Wipe down glass surfaces and windows Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors Other duties as assigned to support the vision and mission at O2 Fitness Experience Janitorial and/or Housekeeping experience preferred Experience cleaning businesses or gyms is a + Qualities for Success Personal passion for the brand Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail Strong time management and organizational skills Must be highly motivated Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 45 lbs.)
