Java Services Developer (Java EE)

An employer is looking for an experienced Backend Java Developer for an on-site, contract opportunity in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The client is a large bank and the Sr. Java Developer will be focused on backend development, application system support and configuration of the client's complaints management process on CMT. CMT is complaints workflow tool running on IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) hosted on WebSphere. This role is to support the bank's integration with another, and will require experience with Java, Java EE (Jakata EE), and WebSphere. The work will focus on developing new features to support workflow compatibility with CMA data, integration with updates to backend services, and application. The candidate will handle the management of the application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality. • Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle. • Determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products. • Designing and conducting tests. • Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. • Supports u by developing documentation and assistance tools We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
