Date PostedAugust 4, 2025 PositionBus Driver, North Lincoln High School Permanent, part-time / 10-month position / hours TBD Position Available August 13, 2025 Reports To Principal Salary / FLSA / Non-Exempt Grade 58 ($16.07 - $21.69 per hour) The salary for this position is based upon the successful applicant's years of service in the NC State Retirement System in the same or similar position. Experience outside of this system may not be recognized for pay purposes. For current Lincoln County School employees, this position will be paid according to the current Lincoln County Schools' pay scale. Qualifications/Requirements / Duties High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and TB test before starting employment. Valid driver's license and driving record that qualifies employee to obtain and maintain a valid NCCDL and drive a bus as directed by supervisor Must comply with all rules and regulations governing the safe operation of a school bus Ability to work independently with minimum supervision once the job is learned Ability to follow written and oral instructions Ability to read, write and keep records Ability to perform simple calculations Must be able to perform very heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift objects Safely transport students to and from school as required Other duties as assigned Application Deadline Open Until Filled Application Process All candidates are required to complete an on-line application.
