OUR CLIENT IS A GROWING BEAUTY COMPANY BASE IN LA! THEY ARE SEEKING A CURRENT HEAD/SR. DIRECTOR LEVEL OF OPS/SUPPLY CHAIN! Head of Operations The Head of Operations is a critical leadership role responsible for end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution, as well as new product innovation and launch excellence. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across all aspects of supply chain management and operational leadership to drive optimization from forecasting through fulfillment. This role ensures operational and financial alignment with Company goals while leading cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable processes, cost efficiencies, and successful product innovation. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain • Lead and manage the base business supply chain to ensure service, cost, and inventory targets are met • Oversee S&OP, forecasting, MPS/MRP planning processes to drive accurate forecasting and production alignment • Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels Procurement / Sourcing • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity and cost competitiveness • Build and manage strong supplier partnerships • Lead contract negotiations and risk mitigation strategies New Product / Project Management • Lead cross-functional new product development and commercialization processes • Drive stage-gate discipline, timeline adherence, and cost control • Ensure operational readiness for new product launches • Lead initiatives to manage lifecycle of existing products Logistics & Fulfillment • Oversee warehousing, distribution, and transportation strategy • Ensure on-time, in-full delivery performance • Identify and implement logistics cost optimization initiatives Quality & Regulatory - Required • Oversee quality and regulatory functions for both base business and new product launches • Ensure compliance with all applicable industry standards and regulations • Establish scalable quality systems to support company growth IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY LIVING IN LA AND IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY A HEAD OF OR SENIOR DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS/SUPPLY CHAIN AT A BEAUTY COMPANY.
