Job Description: The IT Project Manager Consultant provides independent, objective oversight to ensure IT practices align with internal policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory expectations. This role supports senior leadership by delivering unbiased assessments, reducing conflicts of interest, and translating technical findings into actionable business, legal, and compliance insights. The consultant focuses on strengthening governance, reducing legal and regulatory risk, improving policy effectiveness, and enabling informed decision-making through best-practice IT advisory and project delivery. Requirement/Must Have: Strong governance and accountability mindset. bility to confirm alignment of IT practices with internal policies and regulatory expectations. Capability to identify gaps in compliance with laws and regulations, including data protection and cybersecurity requirements. bility to ensure IT controls support legal obligations such as data retention and breach notification. Strong analytical ability to assess complex environments and produce fact-based, practical outcomes. bility to work autonomously with minimal supervision and maintain accountability for deliverables. Experience: Experience delivering consulting or advisory services. Experience working in oversight, audit, governance, or compliance-focused roles. Experience with public sector or large enterprise IT environments preferred. Experience coordinating across IT, legal, compliance, and risk teams. Responsibilities: Provide objective, third-party validation for senior managers, executives, and board members. Reduce conflicts of interest by delivering fact-based assessments and balanced outcomes. Evaluate IT policies for legal soundness, currency with laws and standards, and effectiveness of implementation. Identify inconsistencies between written policies and actual IT practices. Support leadership decision-making with clear, unbiased insights. Translate technical findings into business, legal, and policy implications. Prioritize remediation based on business, legal, and compliance risk. Identify opportunities for organizational improvement through adoption of IT best practices. Deliver clear, actionable roadmaps covering technical controls, policy updates, and compliance requirements. Coordinate effectively with IT, legal, compliance, and risk stakeholders. Plan, execute, and deliver consulting engagements while managing risk, scope, and timelines. Skills: Strong knowledge of IT, finance, and HR management domains. Understanding of industry best practices and regulatory frameworks. nalytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills. bility to develop clear, actionable recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. bility to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong presentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
