About this position SeeScan is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee our payroll operations and provide leadership to our payroll team. This is a fully onsite position located in Kearny Mesa. Compensation The salary range for our Payroll Supervisor position is $70,000 to $75,000 annually. This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization. We are looking for a long-term, in-house teammate to join us, not a contractor or consultant. In this position, you will Supervise the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing Review and approve payroll transactions, reconciliations, and reports Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws Resolve employee payroll inquiries Collaborate with Human Resources on benefits and employee data management Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and efficiency Identify and implement process improvements in payroll administration Assist with payroll and HR special projects as needed Your background Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) 3+ years of payroll experience, supervisory experience a plus Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (multi-state experience a plus) Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus About you Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to support your team Willing to pitch in wherever needed, with a "no job is too small" mindset Excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach to payroll About SeeScan Beneath the ground and below the water's surface is a world out of sight.
