Job Summary: The CT Technician operates Siemens and GE scanners in a fast-paced emergency department setting, performing a variety of CT procedures on patients of all ages. The role involves a high daily caseload and requires proficiency in Siemens scanner use, trauma imaging, and various CT procedures. Location:Charlotte, North Carolina, United States Responsibilities: - Perform CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal system. - Conduct brain perfusion studies, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructions. - Manage a daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms. - Work with Siemens and GE scanners. - Provide care for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. - Assist with code stroke and trauma patients in the emergency department. - Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems. - Document patient care and related duties appropriately. Required Skills & Certifications: - Minimum of 2 years of CT experience. - ARRT(R)(CT) certification. - BLS certification. - Experience with Siemens scanners (MUST). - Experience with GE scanners. - Inpatient experience. - ER experience. - Adult ICU experience. - Experience with Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction CT procedures. Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Outpatient experience. - IV Starts experience. - PACS experience. - Contrast experience. - Visage experience. Special Considerations: - No RTO is allowed after booking and cannot be worked out onsite. - Call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could result in cancellation and DNR. - Very fast-paced environment in the emergency department. - Some trauma cases are involved. Scheduling: - 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00). - Schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. - 36 hours per week. - No call, float, or weekend requirements. - Start date is based on the facility's schedule and is subject to change. Travelers must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes.
