Senior Genesys Cloud Developer (2 roles)

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Senior Genesys Cloud Developer for a hybrid opportunity (3 days a week onsite in Columbia, SC.) The candidate will lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced contact center solutions within the Genesys Cloud platform, supporting enterprise migration and modernization efforts. This role partners closely with business and technical teams to build scalable, cloud-based customer experience capabilities aligned with architectural and security standards. Required Qualifications of the Senior Genesys Cloud Developer: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience 6+ years of application development, systems testing, or related experience Hands-on experience designing and configuring solutions in Genesys Cloud Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or Node.js Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and working with JSON Cloud platform experience (AWS preferred) Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused technical environments Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Genesys Cloud Developer: Genesys Cloud CX Developer (GCD) and/or Genesys Cloud CX Architect (ARC) certifications Experience supporting contact center migration initiatives Familiarity with workflow modeling tools such as Lucidchart Prior experience mentoring junior developers and influencing solution design Responsibilities of the Senior Genesys Cloud Developer: Design and develop complex Genesys Cloud Architect workflows, including IVR, digital routing, and NLU-driven call flows Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and service integrations Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and modern scripting languages Produce and maintain technical documentation including FRDs, workflow diagrams, and interface specifications Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams during discovery, design, and implementation phases Provide post-production support, troubleshooting, and technical guidance to junior team members Work Location: Onsite 3 days a week in Columbia, SC.
