We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join their leadership team and oversee all aspects of accounting operations for a business unit. Position Summary The Controller will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, and work order accounting processes. This role will manage an accounting team, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and lead process improvement initiatives including new system implementations. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, public accounting experience, ERP implementation experience, and proven leadership skills in a complex, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and work order accounting management. Ensure accurate tracking, and financial reporting including work orders coordination with operations and project management teams. Lead, mentor, and develop a large accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets. Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making. Lead system implementation and integration projects to improve efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required: Active CPA license. Required: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience. Required: Public accounting experience. Experience leading a large, multi-functional accounting team strongly preferred Proven track record in leading ERP implementations (examples: NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, etc. Experience with work order tracking and working closely with operations preferred Equal opportunity employer
