Located in Hollister, CA, this full-time, school-based opportunity offers a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025-2026 school year. Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, this in-person position involves working across elementary, middle, and high school levels, with assignments matched to your experience and preferences. Key Qualifications: Active California Speech Language Pathologist License Experience in school settings preferred Skilled in assessment, evaluation, and consultation for students with special education needs Strong communication skills, including active listening and professional collaboration Knowledge of special education processes, disability categories, and IEP development Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners Capacity to integrate humor and a positive attitude in the workplace Responsibilities include: Conducting screenings and comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, articulation, and auditory skills for students referred for special education services Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Consulting with school personnel to support speech and language development and remediation strategies Maintaining consistent communication with families, educators, and healthcare providers to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed Supporting both regular and special education staff in creating effective language programs within classroom or community settings This contract role requires a dedication to students' personal and academic growth through tailored communication support.
