Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that hone in on areas such as communication, fluency, language, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish integrated care strategies. Empower patients and families through education, ensuring progress continues even beyond therapy sessions. Contribute to the inpatient speech therapy services during hospital admissions to ensure a seamless continuum of care. Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Educational Requirements A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Key Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of start date.
