SAP EWM & P2P Consultant Location: Chicago, IL Work Model: (Onsite) Duration: 6+ Months Experience Required: 9-12 Years Job Type: Contract SAP EWM & P2P Consultant to support an implementation/support engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes with hands-on configuration, integration knowledge, and strong client-facing skills. The SAP EWM & P2P Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing SAP solutions, supporting implementations/enhancements, and ensuring smooth integrations across warehouse execution and procurement processes. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design for SAP EWM + P2P processes. • Configure and support SAP modules related to warehouse and procurement operations. • Support inbound/outbound logistics processes including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, staging, shipping. • Configure EWM processes: warehouse structure, storage types/bins, HU management, RF framework, wave management, labor mgmt (if applicable). • Configure P2P processes: PR, PO, GR, invoice verification, returns, vendor integration. • Work on integration points across SAP modules ( MM, EWM, IM, SD, PP, FI/CO) and external systems. • Support production issues, root cause analysis, and defect resolution. • Prepare functional specifications for custom developments ( WRICEF). • Coordinate with ABAP/technical team for enhancements, interfaces, and reports. • Participate in SIT/UAT testing, defect triage, cutover planning and go-live support. • Ensure process alignment with SAP best practices and standardization. • Create process flows, configuration documents, and user training materials. Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) • 9-12 years of SAP functional experience. • Strong hands-on experience in: o SAP EWM (configuration + execution processes) o SAP P2P / MM (procurement lifecycle) • Strong understanding of: o Warehouse operations and logistics execution o Procurement, supplier onboarding, and invoice processing • Integration exposure with: o SAP MM / IM o SAP SD (delivery/shipping) o SAP FI/CO (invoice/posting impacts) • Experience supporting end-to-end lifecycle projects: o Implementation / Rollouts / Enhancements / Support (AMS) • Strong communication and client-facing skills. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-To-Haves) • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA EWM (Embedded or Decentralized). • Experience with: o RF screens / ITS Mobile o Wave management o HU management / packaging o Quality Management / inspection integration • Experience integrating EWM with external systems: o WMS, MES, 3PL platforms, EDI/IDoc interfaces • Agile delivery experience. • Strong documentation and stakeholder management.
