Office Services Clerk Dykema Gossett PLLC, a leading national law firm, is recruiting for a Temporary Office Services Clerk in the Bloomfield Hills office. Under the supervision of the Office Administrator, the Office Services Clerk is responsible for providing administrative operations support to meet the daily needs of the office in connection with the physical office being relocated. Works closely with the Office Services team to identify, respond to, and anticipate administrative operation needs and to ensure internal client needs are met. The Office Services Clerk ensures total customer satisfaction through understanding of customer expectations, proactive problem and identification/resolution. Duties can vary widely from day to day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Relocate files throughout the office to the Records Room, L2 storage and/or offsite storage Assist with monitoring shred bins throughout the office Empty trash gondolas as needed by taking them to the dumpster in the parking lot Clean out supply cabinets, closets, workrooms, and storage areas Sort supplies: keep / donate / recycle / discard Consolidate duplicate supplies and reduce overstock Dispose of expired, broken, or unusable items appropriately Assist with setting up office supplies in temporary locations Other duties related to same as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: One to two years of post-high school training or equivalent work experience. Two to three years of related work experience, including familiarity with standard office procedures, machines and filing systems. Good communication skills, including verbal and written, as well as organizational skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Working knowledge of computer software such as e-mail, word processing and data entry. Ability to lift and transport moderate to heavy (25-30 pounds) boxes, stooping and bending. Additional Information: Normal office environment. Position requires in-office work, Monday Friday (remote work is not available for this role). Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting supplies and equipment, lifting up to twenty-five pounds, and performing other office services duties as assigned.
