Onsite Medical Advisor

As we strive to be the gold standard for safety in all our operations, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with the WHS Site Manager and WHS Specialists, supporting our commitment to associate health and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include: Providing first aid support and facilitating referrals to outside medical providers when necessary. Reducing risks of injury through proactive education and awareness initiatives. Maintaining accurate records of care provided. Coordinating workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for associates with work-related injuries. Documenting daily activities and end-of-shift reports. Engaging with associates on the operations floor to coach on safe work practices. Ensuring a clean and well-stocked medical supply environment. Participating in training sessions for first aid, CPR, and AED certifications. Adhering to emergency response protocols and maintaining effective care delivery. Assisting with random saliva drug testing protocols. This position involves: Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching. Standing or walking for up to 12 hours during shifts. Operating in environments with varying noise levels and weather conditions. Climbing and descending stairs as needed. To qualify for this role, you should have: A high school diploma or equivalent. A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider. One of the following certifications: EMT, Paramedic, or Athletic Trainer Certification. Preferred qualifications include: Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in an industrial wellness program and knowledge of OSHA regulations. Digital recordkeeping expertise. Military medical experience (Combat Medic, Field Medic, Healthcare Specialist, or similar roles) within the last year.
