Shift Maintenance Technician

The 2nd shift Maintenance technician ensures the optimal functioning of all equipment, machines, and mechanical systems within the state of the art mattress manufacturing facility. Hours: 3pm-11pm M-F Pay: $20-$25 hourly Duties and Responsibilities Respond to maintenance requests during 2nd shift operations Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment Perform preventive maintenance tasks on schedule Assist with equipment changeovers and setups as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS system Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures Experience Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Familiarity with Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, Pneumatics and hydraulics Familiarity with Basic PLC troubleshooting Familiarity with Reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams Other Requirements Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during 2nd shift Strong troubleshooting skills and adaptability to changing priorities Effective communication with production and other maintenance staff Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
