Application Engineer (Entry Level Engineer)

Job Title: Application Engineer Job Description We are seeking entry level Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer graduates that are interested in an Applications Engineer role within a growing and excited industry of automation. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, mechanical drawings, and schematics. Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, VAVs, FCUs, UVs. Understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings and bill of materials. Responsibilities Review project documentation and participate in meetings Manage submittal schedules and identify required components Prepare engineering documents and submittal packages Support field operations with procurement, logistics, and RFI tracking Maintain daily project status logs Understand project scope, hours, and change orders Pursue professional development beyond core role Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.84/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
