This role serves as the initial point of contact for all technology-related issues and supports maintenance and upgrades of existing technology-ensuring rapid resolution and exceptional user support. Core ResponsibilitiesIT Help Desk First point of contact for IT issues submitted via email, web portal, or telephone; ensure timely, effective resolution. Prioritize incidents and service tickets as defined by the Director of IT. Perform hands-on support when remote tools are not sufficient, including hardware repairs and peripheral device issues. Assist in modifying or adding technologies by providing technical expertise to support business process flow. Infrastructure Maintenance Configure software and hardware components throughout the shop floor. Build and configure end-user workstations based on user specifications. Perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning and checking workstations, printers, and peripherals. Manage hardware inventory and software licensing; purchase new equipment or licenses as needed. Support updates to server infrastructures, ERP systems, network components, and other software solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Troubleshoot daily technology issues across multiple departments Provide exceptional customer service to end users Maintain and update technical documentation Ensure system performance supports business continuity Reporting Structure This role reports to the Help Desk Supervisor. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in a Computer Science field or 2 years equivalent work experience Experience with desktop operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 11, Android OS, iOS Experience with server operating systems: Server 2019, VMWare, Veeam Experience with Active Directory, Azure, Group Policies, and security groups Proficiency in Microsoft Office software General understanding of office hardware Nice to Have Kaseya VSA experience Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 8-12 hours (prolonged standing, walking, bending, stretching) Ability to withstand repetitive movements Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted Working Environment Hearing and eye protection required due to noise and dust levels Work conditions may involve exposure to dirt, dust, and varied materials Temperature variations in warehouse environment (hot and cold) Must tolerate occasional weather-related heat/humidity Must tolerate occasional paint smells If you are eager to join a company that values its employees, provides opportunities for growth, and contributes to making a difference in the world, then Lexington Manufacturing is the place for you.
