This position is critical to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the warehouse or production area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently as well as within a team, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Put-away newly received raw materials and bulk stock in the designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility. Manage raw and bulk inventory by accurately pulling materials for manufacturing/processing in the assigned area, following the production schedule. Verify consumed quantities and ensure proper put-away of raw and bulk materials after processing. Assist with inventory counting, sorting, and organizing materials as directed by the Inventory Team Lead or Manager. Input and execute material adjustments in the system for work orders or scrap transactions as required. Maintain compliance with all relevant work instructions and safety regulations. Notify the supervisor or team leader of any issues, discrepancies, or problems related to inventory management or job functions. Follow production schedules provided by the Planner or Inventory Manager to meet operational goals. Ensure all materials meet the required quality standards set by the supervisor and organization. Strive to meet or exceed daily production rates as determined by the supervisor. Perform additional tasks as required by the supervisor or management. Qualifications: Basic computer knowledge is preferred; training will be provided for specific software and systems used in the role. Ability to operate a scale, count accurately, and interpret work orders for proper material handling. Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Capable of effectively presenting information to coworkers and team members. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to verify counts, units of measure, and other inventory-related tasks. Ability to solve practical problems and navigate a variety of variables in operational situations. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials of varying weights as needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
