This is a fantastic opportunity to be a vital part of our team, overseeing the creation of precise takeoff and cost estimates for significant projects in earthwork, aggregates, underground work, and paving. Primary Responsibilities Manage and track internal and external projects and client opportunities, compiling a monthly pipeline report. Lead the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including: Estimating Project schedule submissions Collaboration with the Power Group Director of Operations on project plans Material procurement Oversee all project controls, including: Estimating Scheduling Project tracking and change management Development and management of project submittals Support developers in invoice tracking by the Operations department Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management with relevant field experience. Minimum of 15 years of experience in heavy civil estimating; equivalent education and experience combinations may be considered. Extensive experience in earthwork and underground projects is essential; knowledge in PCC paving and concrete is a plus. Skills and Abilities Extensive knowledge of earthwork, underground drainage, sewer, watermain, and general roadway construction. Impeccable attention to detail and exemplary organizational skills. Highly motivated self-starter with time management proficiency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Bid2Win or similar estimating software and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD is an advantage. Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
