As a Lead Substation Engineer on our Substation and Power Generation team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-capacity electrical systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities. In this exciting senior-level role, you will: Drive Substation & Power Infrastructure Design: Lead the design of high-voltage substations and power systems that support data centers. Manage Projects from Start to Finish: Oversee projects from planning and design through to construction, ensuring each meets reliability, constructability, and schedule expectations. Collaborate with Clients: Partner with data center owners and developers to provide tailored power solutions that achieve their uptime and capacity goals. Work Across Disciplines: Coordinate with teams in protection & controls, transmission, and generation to ensure high-quality, integrated solutions. Promote Growth & Innovation: Contribute your expertise to help expand Olsson's power delivery portfolio, mentor junior engineers, and strengthen our best practices. =b>Qualifications: You are passionate about collaboration and ownership in your work. You possess strong communication skills, allowing effective work across multidisciplinary teams and diverse clients. Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Have at least eight years of experience in electrical engineering, especially in substation design and power delivery. Experience with large-load or mission-critical facilities, including coordination with utilities and engineering teams.
