Registered Nurse - Case Manager

Case Manager RN needs 5x8hr shifts 0800-1630, weekdays Orientation held every other week on Thursday 35-40 patients covered per day 2 Years of Experience Required - acute care experience required Certs Required: BLS 1st Time Travelers Accepted Every other weekend required Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs 100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval) WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license 40hrs guaranteed Unit Description: -Dress is business casual, requires a white lab coat/jacket when out on the floor. -Requires real-time documentation of assessments/notes for discharge planning. -This is not a utilization review/inpatient authorization, however may be the need to request authorizations for post-acute placement or discharge medications -Expectation is real time documentation during assessment -We use MCG (formerly Milliman Care Guidelines); we do not use InterQual. MCG experience is a plus -Discharge Planning and Care Coordination experience a plus and the main focus -DNV is our regulatory agency -Experience with Risk Assessments, SDOH a plus. Submission Requirements: Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF.
