In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator.ResponsibilitiesFully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locationsCollect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specificationsCollaborate with project managers to understand project scope and requirementsDetermine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costsGather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible pricesUtilize software tools such as Excel to create detailed estimates and proposals.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations (including NEC), and best practices in construction estimating.Qualifications3 years of previous experience as an Electrical Estimator is preferredStrong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.Strong mathematical and analytical skillsSkilled in relevant software (Excel)Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
