Job Overview We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to spearhead our Commercial Supply Chain strategic planning and supplier oversight. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the uninterrupted availability of our products within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Your responsibilities will involve developing accurate forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely supply to meet patient and business needs. You will also lead the design, implementation, and effective utilization of relevant systems to support the Supply Chain organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee all facets of supply chain management, including planning, sourcing, logistics, and supplier relations for commercial and late-stage clinical products. Create and maintain accurate demand forecasts while considering market trends and regulatory requirements. Maintain market intelligence and promote efficient business processes and systems. Collaborate with marketing, finance, and commercial teams to integrate new product launches into demand forecasts. Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing advanced analytics. Implement data analytics to support robust decision-making processes. Develop and execute supply plans in alignment with demand forecasts and inventory targets. Identify and mitigate supply risks including capacity constraints and compliance issues. Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with supply agreements. Oversee financial commitments and legal contracts in accordance with the company’s authority matrix. Lead strategic meetings with contract manufacturing partners. Engage cross-functional teams to manage critical supplier relationships. Facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning process to align group efforts. Contribute actively to Supply Chain Governance forums. Optimize supply chain processes for cost efficiency. Support the evaluation of potential suppliers, making informed recommendations to management. Drive internal initiatives to implement supply chain best practices. Ensure all operations are compliant and conducted within budget. Essential Competencies Significant experience in supply chain management within a pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated environment. Proficiency in strategic global supply chain management and supplier relationships. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships. Financial acumen with budgeting expertise. Effective communication and influencing skills. Proficient in ERP software and experienced in planning, purchasing, and inventory management. Strong problem-solving abilities driven by data. Excellent knowledge of GMP manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. Demonstrated leadership in process improvement initiatives. Interest in supply chain optimization and simulation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is required. A minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience in supply chain management within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. A minimum of 3-5 years of proficiency in ERP systems, forecasting tools, and advanced Excel. The base salary range for this position is $144,960 to $181,200, with additional opportunities for merit-based increases, participation in short incentive plans, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
