We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Windows Server Administrator to guide our IT team through various projects, ensuring operational excellence and superior service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for technology and is ready to take on a leadership position. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Deliver engaging briefings and presentations to stakeholders. Oversee on-site installation management and team coordination. Independently install, operate, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and repair diverse IT systems and end-user devices. Assist in developing and managing project plans, ensuring tasks align with user requirements and schedules. Collaborate with vendor project managers, government user representatives, and other stakeholders for optimal technical solutions. Other Duties and Responsibilities Drive team productivity to achieve high customer satisfaction. Analyze performance metrics such as response times and transaction volumes to enhance system efficiency. Investigate operational challenges and propose solutions for enhanced procedures and efficiency. Recommend short-term systems projects or improvements based on data analysis. Prepare operational forecasts and requirements for systems development and communications. Oversight of feasibility studies for system enhancements and proposal preparations. Ensure compliance with policies governing team outputs to maximize effectiveness. Monitor and support complex IT infrastructures. Conduct analysis for planning, designing, and evaluating advanced IT tools. Troubleshoot and solve unique or complex technical issues efficiently. Perform root cause analysis on complex production systems. Administer and conduct comprehensive tests on operating systems and software. Lead department activities, mentor staff, set expectations, ensure policy adherence, and handle recruitment and performance reviews. Minimum Qualifications Seven (7) years of progressive experience in Information Processing. Six (6) years specialized in diverse Information Processing disciplines with a range of hardware/software solutions. Four (4) years of hands-on experience with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software. A Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Security Clearance Must have an active Secret level clearance.
