As a Physician and Officer in the Navy Medical Corps, you will be an integral member of the esteemed Navy healthcare team. Typically, Navy physicians serve close to their homes during monthly drills, allowing you to expand your medical experience without affecting your civilian practice. JOB REQUIREMENTS MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical school, or foreign graduates with an ECFMG certificate. Current U.S. medical license in a state, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. Eligibility for board certification. Completion of at least one year of approved graduate medical education internship. Must be between 21 and 42 years old (case-by-case waivers available up to 68). U.S. citizenship is required.
