Specialist in Interventional Radiology

Description: Join our dedicated team as a Specialist in Interventional Radiology, where you will play an essential role in assisting physicians with advanced, minimally invasive image-guided procedures vital for diagnosing and treating heart and blood vessel conditions. You will operate sophisticated fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of the heart and surrounding structures while participating in a variety of procedures including angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, embolization, ablation, and biopsies. Duties and Responsibilities: Follow AORN and AAMI Standards within the Operating Room and Sterile Processing environments. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of surgical procedures as well as the necessary equipment and supplies. Adhere to departmental and hospital policies along with relevant regulatory standards. Maintain aseptic technique without compromise. Work collaboratively as a vital member of the surgical team. Required Qualifications: Current ARRT certification is required; CV credential preferred. RCIS credential may be accepted with relevant Interventional Radiology experience. A current State License to practice is necessary.
