Job DescriptionAll Care Therapies is currently seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist Aide/Tech to join our dynamic Outpatient clinics!Responsibilities: Maintain a neat/tidy appearance in all areas of the department, returning equipment/ supplies to designated areasRegularly sanitize exercise equipment, mats, and assistive devices according to hospital safety and infection control standards.Evaluate and distribute linen supplies, changing linens on treatment tables according to proceduresMaintain medical supplies in all treatment areasSustain organization in the closets regularlySweep soiled utility and equipment rooms at least twice weekly for therapy equipmentAssist in department communication processes-answer telephones, transit messages from nursing service to the therapist, communicate between therapists, etc.Assist the therapist with delivery, set-up, and clean-up of the treatment area (i.e., patient room, rehab gym, splint set up) for patient care delivery Patient Care: Assist in and perform patient transfers and lifts using proper body mechanics, according to standard techniques.Assist the therapist in evaluations/treatments at the bedside and the rehabilitation gym (i.e., exercises, mat activities, orthosis fabrication, modality preparation).Report treatment activities, patient progress, and any unusual response to treatment or incident to the therapist. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function and level.
