Job Description Pump Systems Field Service Technician Schedule: Full-time Overview Join a reputable pump sales and service company as a Field Service Technician, where you'll have the chance to install, troubleshoot, and repair pump systems for industrial and municipal clients. This hands-on position thrives outside of a standard office environment, perfect for individuals who prefer dynamic, fieldwork-focused roles. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment with precision. Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on-site to ensure optimal performance. Install new equipment and support system upgrades to improve operational effectiveness. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service, providing quick response to client needs. Document service activities thoroughly and communicate effectively with customers. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in pump service or industrial mechanics is essential. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, critical for success in this role. Basic understanding of electrical concepts, including motors and controls; knowledge of VFDs is a bonus. Able to work independently and travel regionally as needed. A valid driver's license is required. Preferred Experience with municipal or industrial pumping systems is an advantage. Familiarity with various manufacturers' pump systems will be beneficial. What's Offered Competitive salary of $65,000, plus a 401k plan and comprehensive benefits.
