Your Role: Plan your day effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with your team to ensure freight is transported safely and timely. Handle all paperwork and electronic logs accurately while adhering to DOT, state, and company regulations. Safely operate your tractor-trailer, conducting inspections before, during, and after each trip to maintain it in excellent condition. Take optimized routes while following traffic laws and local restrictions to enhance on-time delivery performance. Uphold Walmart's renowned standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism on every journey. Minimum Qualifications: Possess an Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with a Hazmat endorsement (including a cleared background check) or be willing to obtain one within 120 calendar days from hire. Have a minimum of 30 months of experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position within the last 3 years, or successfully complete the Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program. Maintain no more than two moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years. No serious traffic violations, preventable accidents, or preventable DOT recordable accidents in the past three years to ten years, respectively. Currently reside within 250 miles of the designated facility or be willing to establish residency within 90 days of hire. The definition of permanent residence is your main, and regular residence at a fixed address, the place you consider your home.
