You will be responsible for monitoring supplier performance and expenditures, addressing any quality or delivery concerns, and maintaining precise procurement documentation. The position requires you to remain informed of market trends and supplier capabilities, ensuring that Liberty Systems maintains a competitive edge. You will work closely with colleagues in engineering, operations, service, and sales to understand technical needs and support organizational goals. The role involves preparing and managing RFQs, reviewing proposals, issuing purchase orders, and analyzing procurement data to inform decisions.Here's what you need to become our Technical Procurement Specialist: Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, business, or a related field5+ years of experience in procurementExperience with VMI and reporting using key performance indicatorsStrong Microsoft Excel knowledge and database experienceStrong analytical skills and knowledge of inventory management principlesAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate recordsProactive communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to develop and implement buying policies and proceduresAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to analyze large, complex data sets and generate meaningful insightsAdaptability and flexibility to changing business needsExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (a plus)BE OUR NEW TECHNICAL PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST!Apply using our mobile-friendly application process!
