TRG is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our customers in and around multiple locations in the southeast area of Michigan. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and open to taking on new challenges as they present themselves. They can adapt to a variety of work environments and quickly solve problems. Their main responsibility is to provide excellent customer service while maintaining equipment, with specific Field Service Technician job duties. Requirements:Installing or upgrading thermal, line and laser printer and related equipment maintained by the company in various field locations Performing emergency and routine maintenance on equipment Testing equipment to troubleshoot the issues Documenting installation and repairs Maintaining all tools and equipment used during service calls Training customers how to use the equipment properly Managing the stock of replacement parts and equipment Qualifications: High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of experience troubleshooting, thermal, laser and line printers and related equipment. Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to recognize situations/operations with potential for improvement and to identify, develop, present, and propose possible solutions. Self-motivated - ability to work diligently for the success of TRG and the client’s business interest without constant supervision. Willingness to take on challenges and to continually adapt to new requirements through research, learning, and growth. Adaptability and flexibility is required. Deep sense of business ethic and fairness - architect must advocate for client at times and for TRG at times. Ability to interact with people of all backgrounds with respect. Ability to accept critical feedback with a positive attitude. Willingness to admit to mistakes. Ability to calmly handle pressure situations which involve restoration of critical operations.
