Log Yard Technician

Log Yard Technician Clendenin Lumber Co., located in Donalds SC is a leading manufacturer of hardwood lumber. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our growing team as a Log Yard Technician. The position's primary responsibilities include operating a front-end loader and knuckle boom to unload and load trucks as well as grading/scaling logs per company guidelines. Log Yard Technician Requirements (including but not limited to): Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Chainsaw operation. Scaling, trimming and preparing logs. Operating handheld data recording device. Strong communication skills and familiarity with working in a team-based environment. Log Yard Technician Experience: Prefer a candidate with previous experience as an equipment operator either in a log yard environment or at a logging operation Must be self motivated and organized Willingness to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment Must maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license Log Yard Technician Pay & Benefits: Pay is Dependent on Experience Full Plan of Benefits First Shift Please refer to the "Full Job Description" button below to review our physical demands form prior to applying to this position.
