A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) skilled in pediatrics and experienced with middle school students. This full-time position serves a middle school caseload, specifically grades 6th through 8th, with both full-time and part-time openings. Located in Orlando, FL, this role offers the potential for a hybrid work schedule to support work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to middle school students, addressing a range of communication disorders. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet individual needs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment. Qualifications: Florida State License required. Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) through ASHA. Masters Degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field. Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. This contract position requires working 37.5 hours per week with a commitment to improving student communication abilities in an educational setting.
