You will directly work with IDD individuals, following a one-on-one care plan in an individual's home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets the individual's needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or DODD experience is a plus.ResponsibilitiesAssist individuals with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobilesCare for individuals by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal careMaintain records of individuals care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisorBuild relationships with individuals by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alertGive medications If QualifiedEngage individuals in exercises or other activitiesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDDriver’s licenseCPR and first aid certification requiredMedication Certification (if applicable)
