Civil Drafter - Civil3D/CAD Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Civil Drafter to join our team and create detailed construction plans using Civil3D software. This role is office-based in Midland, TX - we do not offer remote work. Key Responsibilities: Transform survey data, sketches, and design concepts into comprehensive construction plans including: Existing Conditions Dimensioned Site Plans Site Grading & Drainage Plans Site Utility Plans Roadway Plan and Profile Drawings Detailed Street Intersection Designs Utility Plan and Profile Drawings Drainage and Hydraulic Structure Design and Details Collaborate with engineers to implement mark-ups and design changes. Coordinate designs with architects and other engineering consultants. Revise plans based on client feedback and agency reviewer comments. Conduct thorough self-reviews for completeness and accuracy before submitting to management. Work closely with project managers to assess scope and budgets as necessary. Handle complex assignments with minimal supervision based on verbal instructions. Organize, create, and maintain CAD files for client projects effectively. Qualifications: An Associate Degree or equivalent Certificate in AutoCAD/Civil3D is preferred; a Bachelor’s Degree is welcomed. At least one (1) year of experience using Civil3D, with skills in surfacing, road profiles, grading, earthwork computation, and pipe networks. Experience in the land development industry is strongly preferred.
